Lawrence M. Jacobson

Larry Jacobson has 35 years of experience handling commercial bankruptcy, insolvency and business litigation matters in Federal, Bankruptcy and California state courts.  Larry formerly practiced with a major Los Angeles firm where he became a partner in 1989.

Larry is rated AV-Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, its highest ranking for professionalism and ethics.

Larry received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1978 and his Juris Doctor degree from the UCLA School of Law in 1981.

Larry is admitted to practice before all state, Federal and Bankruptcy courts in California, and has also been admitted to practice pro hac vice in various other courts, including Bankruptcy Courts in the Southern District of New York and the District of Delaware.

Larry’s practice focuses on complex commercial (non-debtor) bankruptcy and insolvency related matters, as well as business and commercial litigation.  His clients have included major television networks, motion picture studios, filmmakers, commercial landlords, franchisors, lenders, hedge fund operators, airline and equipment lessors, intellectual property holders, manufacturers, online retailers, and many other companies and individuals involved in commercial endeavors.
